This is what co-operation and restraint in the common good can accomplish . time to watch the news and watch the stupid americans some more. Travel with the USA and other high risk areas is still closed The tourist industry needs revived but so far the Government isn't ready to trade lives for Dollars . Although Aruba has opened to the USA, USA citizens travel from Aruba to Bonaire will be deny admission

The airport and port remains closed for all but approved flights or ships. The ships would be Dos Andres and Cargill shipping. Intra Island flights in the Dutch Caribbean have resumed including Aruba amd Curacao. Of interest Aruba is accepting flights from the USA with some health requirements. AS of July 9th . you can not transfer from a US flight to a Bonaire flight. See how long that lasts This week saw the return of flights from the Netherlands . Other international flights sre limited to countries with low COVID 19 risk remain on hold

Some of the published dive guides state that divers have the right to enter ANYWHERE. This is not really true. Yo can enter anywhere in on PUBLIC land like along the Boulevard down town and along the "tourist road" Sites in developed area like Andrea 1 and 2 are limited to day light hours essentially 7-7. Entries in front of resorts are private and can involve a fee if you use facilities or be closed completely if resort is busy. South of town,the area is all owned by Cargill Salt and subject to closure if abuse (leaving trash, driving in the sand) continues. Salt Pier ,while reopened, is being so trashed by divers that they are thinking of closing it off. Courteous divers get more dives
